The first three are from a series called 'Tourists contemplating the British Museum'by Rosie James. The next two are by Alice Kettle. The second to last is called 'Ruined forest' by Karen Richard. And the last one, my personal favourite, is by Susanne Greg.
There was a fabulous exhibit at the Bibliothèque Forney in Paris in June on contemporary art and embroidery; 49 international artists selected for the « PFAFF Art Embroidery Challenge 2009 » were exhibited at the library.
